Applications (S)-Omeprazole is the (S)-enantiomer of Omeprazole (O635000) a gastric proton-pump inhibitor. (S)-Omeprazole is more potent that its (R)-enantiomer and is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease as well as gastrointestinal ulcers associated with Crohn’s disease.
